Transit Bus AugTransit Tickets may be purchased for $16.00/10 in Victoria Hall and at the Public Library.

Fares

$2.00 - Exact Cash Fare
$16.00 - For sleeve of 10 tickets
$60.00 - Adult Monthly Pass *
$50.00 - Student Monthly Pass *
$30.00 - Senior Monthly Pass *
$15.00 - After school monthly student pass for after 2:30 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends.*
Children 5 and under - free

Monthly passes *

Effective August 31, 2016, monthly passes will be plastic and include a photo ID, riders name, date of purchase and expiration. These can be purchased in the Finance Department at Victoria Hall. Photos of each rider will be saved so riders do not need to take a new photo each month. They are no longer available at the Cobourg Public Library although sleeves of 10 tickets will still be available there. Individuals who cannot make it to Victoria Hall can call 905-372-8944 and a card can be arranged for drop off.

Monday to Friday
- 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Saturday - 8:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Sunday - 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Days without service

The Transit bus does not run on the following days:
New Year's Day, Family Day, Easter Friday, Victoria Day, Labour Day, Christmas day.

Transit will run on Canada Day and the August civic Holiday from 10:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. only.
Hours on Thanksgiving Monday will be regular hours (6:15 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.)

Specifically, the times for the 2017 Christmas season:

Port Hope Shuttle

The bus from Port Hope arrives every half hour at 10 minutes and 40 minutes past the hour at Northumberland Mall. You can transfer to a Cobourg bus for $1.00 or ride the Port Hope bus to the Hospital (:14  & :44) or WalMart (:15 & :45) - bus then goes back to Port Hope.

Port Hope riders can get on the shuttle at Port Hope Town Hall (56 Queen Street) on the half hour and hour during business hours.

Shuttle Schedule

Monday - Friday
At the Mall every half hour 10 & 40 minutes past the hour from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (last shuttle - 7:10 p.m.).

Saturday
At the Mall every half hour 10 & 40 minutes past the hour from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last shuttle - 3:10 p.m.).
No Shuttle Service on Sundays or Statutory Holidays.

Airport Service

A daily shuttle to Toronto Airport is provided by MegaBus.  Their prices are $35 each way and you pick them up at Harveys in Port Hope off Hwy 28 just north of the 401.  They leave Port Hope daily at 2:30pm and 5:30pm and the time elapsed is 1hr 30m.  You must book online here.  Only one large checked bag is allowed. Return times from Pearson are 12:00noon,  6:30pm and 9:00pm. Return elapsed time is also 1hr 30m.  More info at their web site.
