The Town of Cobourg has many “Master Plans” detailing what should be done on various assets and areas. The plans include goals and timelines intended to guide staff but in general, there are no regular reports on whether the goals are being met or indeed if there is any progress. However, the report on the Operational plan does report on progress on the Strategic plan. I have made a list of the plans below.
There are other related documents that have been produced but they are not “MASTER” plans. The Town lists these here (in addition to some of the Master Plans).
In the list below, the File Location is indicated. If it’s Cobourg Internet, that means it's hosted on this site and it will be available while the site continues to operate; if it’s the Town, then based on previous experience, the file may get lost when the Town’s web site is re-worked. The most recent date for an update of the Town's web site is end of March 2025.

It's hoped that Town Staff do refer to these plans when deciding what to do but it would be nice to have confirmation of this. Some appear to be shelved (e.g. culture) - these should be dusted off - or else why bother with master plans?
